General Information Teachers: All of our teachers are educated in dance and have many years experience teaching both children and adults. Makeup Policy: All classes missed due to student illness, cancelled due to weather or teacher illness, may be made up at your discretion. Call to schedule a makeup with a comparable class. Snow Days/Inclement weather: Please call the studio before coming to class to find out if there is a closure. If Central Bucks School District closes, we will be closed. These classes may be made up. Dress Code: All classes- appropriate dancewear (ie. Leotard with tights, unitard, jazz set, jazz pants) and proper dance shoes are required to participate. No sweatshirts, sweatpants, T-Shirts, or dress up costumes allowed. Tights must be worn with dance shorts. Ballet- solid color leotard, lt. pink tights, pink ballet slippers Jazz/HipHop- Dancewear, tan jazz shoes, some require clean athletic sneakers HipHop- Dancewear, hiphop sneakers Tap- Tap shoes as recommended by teacher Modern- Dancewear, barefeet Lyrical- Dancewear, ballet slippers All students participating in dance for the year will receive an award based on the number of consecutive years they’ve continued their dance education at Doylestown Dance Centre. First and Second year students receive a beautiful medal. Three consecutive years and up receive lovely trophies.
