Rising from the ashes of its predecessor, the Phoenix symbolizes renewal and resurrection and is closely associated with the sun. It can also be seen as to symbolize hope and endurance, as the phoenix is goes through the cycle of life, dying over and over again, yet continuing to rebirth itself every time.
